We clean all the fabric and stretch it over bespoke wooden frames we make ourselves. Many of the fabrics have been around for over 40 years and occasionally if the material is very fragile we will put muslin backing onto the frame to help the look and maintain the longevity of the fabric.

Welcome to the magic cupboard. We specialise in sourcing vintage fabric from the 1960s and 1970s and creating fabulous wall hangings. They are bright, bold, unique pieces of art and will make a stunning addition to your home, work place or office. Fabrics are sourced from all over the world and hangings are hand made so that each one is unique.

All the pictures on the website are taken in our home, so you can see not only the size of the frames but imagine how they might fit into your own home. Don’t be put off by the vintage tag – our house isn’t full of priceless pieces of retro furniture, yet the wall hangings look fantastic.
